The timeless colonial decor, from the fine chandeliers in the lobby to the cozy seating areas perfect for a tête-à-tête. I adored the delicious lobster bisque at Whiskers Pub- a must-try! Having complimentary fresh apples and filtered water available added such a thoughtful touch to our experience.

wonderful experience but minor plumbing issue

The hotel had many cozy spots perfect for relaxing. The filtered water bottle stations were a nice bonus that made staying hydrated easy.

The toilet in my room had a minor flushing issue.

I loved the comfy beds and enjoyed a relaxing dip in the pool during my stay. The spa offered some great treatments, which really helped me unwind. The only thing I noticed was that a light in the room could be brighter, but it didn’t dampen my overall experience. 😊

i had a fantastic stay at the nittany lion inn! the room was clean and comfortable, with new furnishings. the shower was impressive, featuring both an overhead nozzle and a handheld wand. breakfast at lionne was a highlight, and the decor gave me all the penn state vibes. also, guests can enjoy the fitness center!

It was just an optimal selection for strolling in State College with outstanding value for money. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Be sure to check in first to get your room key for the nearby parking garage.

Brunch wasn’t available due to low traffic, and no complimentary breakfast option left me craving morning bites. A softer bed wouldn’t hurt either, as I found the mattress a bit firm for my taste.

Pretty good overall! The maintenance team was super quick to fix the sink drain issue when I let them know. The computerized heating was a bit annoying since it wouldn't turn off, but they took care of it quick next morning. Whiskers bar is a nice spot for dinner too. And those apples? A nice touch!
